We-Educate are seeking a caring and committed Year 2 Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a pupil with Global Developmental Delay in a friendly and supportive primary school in Hornchurch. The pupil also has partial hearing loss and epilepsy, so the successful candidate must be calm, attentive, and confident following guidance from the school’s SEN and medical teams.
About the Role:
- Offering consistent 1:1 support to a Year 2 pupil with additional learning and developmental needs
- Assisting with communication, learning tasks, and emotional regulation
- Following tailored strategies provided by SENCO, teachers, and external specialists
- Helping to create a safe, structured and nurturing environment
- Supporting the pupil during class activities, transitions, and routines
