A welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Southend-on-Sea is seeking an experienced Spanish Teacher to join their successful MFL department from January. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional looking for a short-term contract that will transition into a permanent position after February half-term.
The school is looking for:
- A qualified Spanish Teacher with QTS
- An experienced teacher – not suitable for ECTs
- A strong classroom practitioner with excellent subject knowledge
- Someone able to deliver engaging lessons and raise student achievement
- A teacher with strong behaviour management and a positive, proactive approach
Responsibilities include:
- Teaching Spanish across KS3 and KS4
- Planning, marking and assessing in line with department expectations
- Contributing to a collaborative and supportive MFL team
- Supporting the wider school ethos and maintaining high standards
