We Educate is looking for enthusiastic and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to join our team, supporting mainstream primary schools across Westcliff-on-Sea.

You’ll be supporting pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs, helping them build confidence, develop new skills and enjoy their learning.
About the Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with teachers and SENCOs to provide tailored support that enables pupils to access the curriculum and achieve their individual goals. You may work on a one-to-one basis, support small intervention groups or assist within the classroom, depending on the needs of the school.
Pay: £92 – £115 per day
Your Responsibilities
- Support pupils with a variety of Special Educational Needs.
- Provide one-to-one and small group learning support.
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
- Encourage pupils’ confidence, independence and social development.
- Promote positive behaviour and help create a supportive classroom environment.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff to meet individual pupil needs.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for caring, patient and reliable individuals who are passionate about supporting children’s education.
The following qualifications or experience would be beneficial:
- Teaching Assistant qualifications
- Health & Social Care
- Early Years (EYFS)
- Childcare
- Education, Psychology or related degrees
Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential.
