About the Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll become an important part of the school community, working alongside teachers and SENCOs to provide tailored support throughout the school day. Your role may involve supporting a child on a one-to-one basis, working with small groups or assisting the class teacher to ensure every pupil can access learning.
Pay: £92 – £115 per day
What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs.
- Help pupils remain engaged and confident during lessons.
- Support teachers with classroom activities and learning resources.
- Encourage positive behaviour, independence and personal development.
- Assist in creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Build positive relationships with pupils and members of staff.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking enthusiastic individuals who have a genuine passion for helping children succeed.
The following qualifications or experience would be advantageous:
- Teaching Assistant qualifications
- Health & Social Care
- Early Years (EYFS)
- Childcare
- Education, Psychology or related degrees
Previous experience in a school setting is beneficial but not essential.
