SEN Teaching Assistant – Chalkwell

We Educate is currently recruiting enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to work in mainstream primary schools across Chalkwell.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping children with Special Educational Needs reach their full potential. Working closely with experienced teachers and school staff, you’ll provide valuable support that helps pupils succeed both in and out of the classroom.
About the Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll support children with a range of additional needs in a variety of classroom settings. Whether you’re working one-to-one with a pupil, assisting small groups or supporting the class teacher, you’ll play an important role in creating a positive and inclusive learning experience.
Pay: £92 – £115 per day
Your Responsibilities
- Support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs throughout the school day.
- Deliver one-to-one support and assist with small group interventions.
- Help prepare classroom resources and learning activities.
- Encourage confidence, independence and positive behaviour.
- Work alongside teachers to ensure every child can access learning.
- Build positive relationships with pupils and members of the school team.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for compassionate, reliable individuals who enjoy working with children and want to make a lasting difference.
The following qualifications or backgrounds are desirable:
- Teaching Assistant qualifications
- Health & Social Care
- Early Years (EYFS)
- Childcare
- Education, Psychology or related degrees
Previous experience in a school or childcare setting is welcomed but not essential.
