We Educate is currently recruiting enthusiastic and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to work in mainstream primary schools across Pitsea.
If you have a passion for supporting children and want to make a real difference in the classroom, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. You’ll work with pupils who have a range of Special Educational Needs, helping them develop confidence, independence and a love for learning.
About the Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to provide tailored support throughout the school day. You may be supporting a child on a one-to-one basis, working with small intervention groups or assisting the whole class to ensure every pupil can access learning and achieve their best.
Pay: £92 – £115 per day
Your Responsibilities
- Provide dedicated support to pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs.
- Deliver one-to-one and small group interventions.
- Assist teachers with classroom activities and lesson delivery.
- Encourage positive behaviour and help pupils build confidence.
- Support children’s academic, social and emotional development.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for caring, reliable and motivated individuals who are passionate about supporting children’s education.
The following qualifications or experience would be advantageous:
- Teaching Assistant qualifications
- Health & Social Care
- Early Years (EYFS)
- Childcare
- Education, Psychology or similar degrees
Previous experience is welcomed but not essential—we value enthusiasm and a positive attitude above all else.
