We Educate is currently looking for caring and committed SEN Teaching Assistants to join our team, supporting mainstream primary schools across Benfleet.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs. You’ll work closely with school staff to provide tailored support, helping pupils develop academically, socially and emotionally in a nurturing learning environment.
About the Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll play an important role in the classroom by supporting pupils with a range of additional needs. Depending on the school’s requirements, you could be working one-to-one with a pupil, leading small group interventions or providing general classroom support alongside the class teacher.
Every day is different, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys building positive relationships and helping children succeed.
Pay: £92 – £115 per day
What You’ll Be Doing
- Support pupils with a variety of Special Educational Needs.
- Provide one-to-one and small group learning support.
- Help pupils engage with lessons and classroom activities.
- Work alongside teachers to deliver an inclusive learning environment.
- Encourage confidence, independence and positive behaviour.
- Monitor pupil progress and communicate effectively with school staff.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals who have a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
The following qualifications or experience would be advantageous:
- Teaching Assistant qualifications
- Health & Social Care
- Early Years (EYFS)
- Childcare
- Education, Psychology or similar degrees
Previous experience working with children is beneficial, but not essential.
