SEN Teaching Assistant – Laindon

We Educate is currently recruiting caring and motivated SEN Teaching Assistants to support mainstream primary schools across Laindon.
This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs and helping them overcome barriers to learning. You’ll play a key role in building confidence, encouraging independence and supporting pupils to achieve their best.
About the Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and SENCOs to provide tailored support to pupils throughout the school day. This may include working one-to-one with individual pupils, supporting small intervention groups, or assisting within the classroom environment.
Pay: £92 – £115 per day
Your Responsibilities
- Support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs.
- Deliver one-to-one and small group interventions.
- Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom activities.
- Encourage positive behaviour, engagement and independence.
- Support pupils’ academic, social and emotional development.
- Help create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals who are passionate about working with children.
The following qualifications or experience would be beneficial:
- Teaching Assistant qualifications
- Health & Social Care
- Early Years (EYFS)
- Childcare
- Education, Psychology or related degrees
Previous experience working with children is welcome but not essential.
