Location: Grays
Salary: £150–£220 per day
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-time
We Educate Recruitment are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 1 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Grays from September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to inspire and support young learners during an important stage of their education. The successful candidate will create an engaging, inclusive and supportive classroom environment where every child is encouraged to achieve their potential.
The Role:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the Key Stage 1 curriculum
- Creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
- Supporting pupils across a range of abilities and needs
- Monitoring and assessing pupil progress
- Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and colleagues
- Supporting the social and emotional development of pupils
- Contributing to the wider life of the school
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Has experience teaching within a primary school environment
- Has a strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum
- Is confident managing classroom behaviour
- Is passionate about helping children achieve their potential
- Has excellent communication and organisational skills
