Cleaner – Orsett
Location: Orsett
Salary: £24,000–£27,000 per annum
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-time and part-time opportunities available
We Educate Recruitment are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join a welcoming school in Orsett from September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work and is committed to maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors.
The Role:
- Cleaning classrooms, offices and communal areas
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the school
- Cleaning and sanitising facilities in line with school procedures
- Following appropriate health and safety and cleaning guidelines
- Reporting maintenance or cleaning issues where necessary
- Working effectively as part of a wider premises and cleaning team
The Ideal Candidate:
- Has previous cleaning experience, although training can be provided
- Is reliable, hardworking and takes pride in their work
- Has good attention to detail
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- Is organised and able to manage tasks effectively
- Understands the importance of maintaining a safe and hygienic environment
Previous experience working within a school, office, commercial or public building environment would be beneficial.
