About the Role
We Educate is seeking enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants in Southend-on-Sea to support children across a range of primary schools and SEN schools in Essex. This is a rewarding opportunity to work with pupils with special educational needs (SEN) and help them achieve their full potential.
As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will work 1:1, with small groups, or across classrooms. Your role is to support pupils’ learning, confidence, and social development. Whether you are experienced or starting your career in education, we provide full training and ongoing support.
Key Responsibilities
- Support children with SEN in learning, behaviour, and personal development
- Assist teachers in delivering inclusive, engaging lessons
- Provide targeted 1:1 and small group interventions
- Encourage independence, confidence, and positive behaviour
- Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
Candidate Requirements
