Finance Officer – Stanford-le-Hope
Location: Stanford-le-Hope
Salary: £30,000–£38,000 per annum
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-time
We Educate Recruitment are currently seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Finance Officer to join a welcoming school in Stanford-le-Hope from September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to support the effective financial management and day-to-day administration of a school.
The Role:
- Supporting the day-to-day financial administration of the school
- Processing invoices, payments and purchase orders
- Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
- Assisting with budgets, reconciliations and financial reporting
- Liaising with suppliers and external organisations
- Supporting payroll and other finance-related processes where required
- Ensuring financial procedures are followed accurately and efficiently
The Ideal Candidate:
- Has previous experience in a finance, accounts or administrative role
- Is highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Has strong numerical and analytical skills
- Is confident using financial systems and Microsoft Office
- Can handle confidential financial information professionally
- Is reliable and able to manage competing priorities
Previous experience working within a school, education or public sector environment would be beneficial, although candidates with relevant finance experience are encouraged to apply.
