Salary: £100–£130 per day

We Educate Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a supportive school in Colliers Row from September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant or HLTA who is confident supporting pupils across a range of abilities and is looking to take on greater responsibility within the classroom.
The Role:
- Delivering planned lessons and learning activities in the absence of the class teacher
- Supporting pupils individually, in small groups and across the classroom
- Working closely with teachers to support learning and pupil progress
- Providing targeted support to pupils with additional needs
- Helping to manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
- Contributing to lesson planning and assessment where appropriate
- Supporting the wider life of the school
The Ideal Candidate:
- Has previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, HLTA or in a similar education role
- Is confident delivering lessons and supporting classroom learning
- Has strong behaviour management and communication skills
- Is passionate about helping children achieve their potential
- Can work effectively independently and as part of a wider school team
- Is reliable, adaptable and organised
A relevant qualification or previous experience working as an HLTA would be beneficial. Candidates with strong experience as a Teaching Assistant who are ready to take the next step are also encouraged to apply.
