SEN Teaching Assistant – Shoeburyness

We Educate is currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to work within supportive mainstream primary schools across Shoeburyness.

If you’re passionate about helping children succeed and want to make a meaningful difference in the classroom, we’d love to hear from you. This role offers the opportunity to support pupils with a variety of Special Educational Needs, helping them develop academically, socially and emotionally.

About the Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with teachers and SENCOs to provide personalised support throughout the school day. You may work with individual pupils, support small intervention groups or assist the wider class, ensuring every child has the opportunity to reach their potential.

This is a rewarding role where every day brings new challenges and opportunities to make a positive impact.

Pay: £92 – £115 per day

Your Responsibilities

• Support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs.
• Deliver one-to-one and small group learning support.
• Help create an engaging, inclusive and positive classroom environment.
• Encourage pupils to build confidence and independence.
• Assist teachers with classroom activities and lesson preparation.
• Work collaboratively with school staff to support pupil development.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for positive, caring individuals who enjoy working with children and are committed to supporting their learning.

Qualifications or experience that would be beneficial include:

• Teaching Assistant qualifications
• Health & Social Care
• Early Years (EYFS)
• Childcare
• Education, Psychology or similar degrees

Previous school experience is desirable but not essential.
