About the Role
We Educate is seeking enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants in Redbridge to support children across a range of primary schools and SEN schools in the borough. This is an excellent opportunity to help pupils with special educational needs (SEN) reach their full potential.
As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will work 1:1, with small groups, or across classrooms to support pupils’ learning, confidence, and personal development. Whether you have classroom experience or are starting your career in education, we provide full training and ongoing support.
Key Responsibilities
- Support children with SEN in learning, behaviour, and personal development
- Assist teachers in delivering inclusive and engaging lessons
- Provide targeted 1:1 and small group interventions
- Encourage independence, confidence, and positive behaviour
- Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
Candidate Requirements
- Passion for supporting children and making a difference in education
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
- Previous experience with children desirable but not essential
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant, SEN, or Education qualifications beneficial but not required
- Willingness to learn and engage in professional development
