About the Role
We Educate is seeking enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants in South Ockendon to support children across local primary schools and SEN schools in Essex. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a variety of settings, providing vital support to pupils with special educational needs (SEN).
As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will work 1:1, in small groups, or in class, helping pupils to engage with learning and build their confidence. Whether you are experienced or just starting your career in education, we provide the training and support you need.
Key Responsibilities
- Support children with SEN in learning, behaviour, and personal development
- Work with teachers to deliver tailored lesson support
- Provide individual and group interventions
- Encourage independence and positive engagement
- Help create an inclusive school environment
Candidate Requirements
- Passion for supporting children and making a difference
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
- Experience with children desirable but not essential
- Level 3 TA, SEN, or Education qualifications beneficial but not required
- Willingness to learn and develop
