We Educate is currently recruiting passionate and caring SEN Teaching Assistants to work within welcoming mainstream primary schools across Southend-on-Sea.

About the Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with teachers and SENCOs to provide tailored support to pupils with additional needs. Depending on the school’s requirements, you may work on a one-to-one basis, support small intervention groups, or assist within the wider classroom.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable school experience or continue their career within education.
Pay: £92 – £115 per day
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting pupils with a variety of special educational needs.
- Delivering one-to-one and small group support throughout the school day.
- Assisting the class teacher in creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
- Encouraging pupils to develop confidence, independence, and positive relationships.
- Supporting both academic progress and social development.
- Building positive relationships with school staff, pupils, and families.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals with a genuine passion for supporting children.
While previous school experience is beneficial, we also welcome applicants with qualifications such as:
- Teaching Assistant qualifications
- Health & Social Care
- Early Years (EYFS)
- Childcare
- Education or Psychology degrees
