About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Part-Time Primary PPA Cover Teacher to support schools in Romford. This role is perfect for teachers who enjoy variety and flexibility, as you will be covering classes across KS1 and KS2 during teachers’ Planning, Preparation, and Assessment (PPA) time.
You will not be required to complete full planning, but you will deliver engaging lessons and maintain a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons across KS1 and KS2 classes
- Ensure continuity of learning during teachers’ PPA time
- Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Engage and inspire pupils in a range of subjects
- Collaborate with school staff to support pupils’ progress and wellbeing
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ECTs and experienced teachers welcome
- Strong classroom management and adaptability
- Ability to build positive relationships with staff and pupils
- Reliable, flexible, and confident teaching across different subjects
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
