Headteacher – South Ockendon
Location: South Ockendon
Salary: £85,000–£110,000 per annum
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-time
We Educate Recruitment are currently seeking an inspirational and experienced Headteacher to lead a successful and ambitious school in South Ockendon from September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced senior leader who is passionate about improving outcomes for pupils, developing staff and creating a positive and inclusive school community.
The Role:
- Providing strategic leadership and direction across the school
- Developing and implementing the school’s vision and improvement priorities
- Maintaining high standards of teaching, learning and pupil outcomes
- Leading and developing staff across the school
- Promoting high standards of behaviour, safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
- Working closely with governors, parents, staff and the wider community
- Ensuring the school continues to provide an ambitious and inclusive education for all pupils
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has significant senior leadership experience within a school setting
- Has a proven track record of improving outcomes for pupils
- Is an inspirational, strategic and effective leader
- Has excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Is committed to creating a positive and ambitious school environment
