English as an Additional Language (EAL) Teacher – Dagenham
Location: Dagenham
Salary: £150–£220 per day
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-time
We Educate Recruitment are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English as an Additional Language (EAL) Teacher to join a diverse and inclusive school in Dagenham from September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to support students who speak English as an additional language, helping them develop their language skills, confidence and access to the wider curriculum.
The Role:
- Planning and delivering engaging EAL lessons and support sessions
- Supporting students to develop their English language skills
- Working with pupils across a range of ages and abilities
- Helping students access the wider curriculum and school life
- Monitoring and assessing student progress
- Working collaboratively with teachers, support staff and families
- Promoting an inclusive and supportive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Has experience supporting or teaching students with English as an additional language
- Has strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Is patient, adaptable and culturally aware
- Can differentiate learning to meet individual student needs
- Is passionate about helping students achieve their potential
Experience working in a diverse school or supporting multilingual learners would be beneficial. Candidates with relevant teaching or language support experience are encouraged to apply.
