Computing / ICT Teacher – Hornchurch
Location: Hornchurch
Salary: £150–£220 per day
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-time
We Educate Recruitment are currently seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Computing / ICT Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Hornchurch from September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher to inspire students through technology and develop their knowledge and understanding of computing, digital systems and information technology.
The Role:
- Planning and delivering engaging Computing and ICT lessons
- Teaching students across a range of abilities and age groups
- Developing students’ understanding of digital technology and computing
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Assessing and monitoring student progress
- Supporting students to develop their digital skills and confidence
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the school
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Has experience teaching Computing, ICT or a related subject
- Has strong subject knowledge and a passion for technology
- Is confident managing classroom behaviour
- Can engage and motivate students of all abilities
- Has excellent communication and organisational skills
