Year 6 Teacher – Stanford-le-Hope
Location: Stanford-le-Hope
Salary: £150–£220 per day
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-time
We Educate Recruitment are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Stanford-le-Hope from September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to support pupils through an important year of their primary education and prepare them for the transition to secondary school.
The Role:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons to a Year 6 class
- Preparing pupils for SATs and the transition to secondary education
- Creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
- Supporting pupils across a range of abilities and needs
- Monitoring and assessing pupil progress
- Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and colleagues
- Supporting the academic, social and emotional development of pupils
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Has experience teaching within a primary school environment
- Has a strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
- Is confident preparing pupils for SATs
- Is confident managing classroom behaviour
- Is passionate about helping children achieve their potential
