Early Years Practitioner – Wickford
Location: Wickford
Salary: £24,000–£28,000 per annum
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-time and part-time opportunities available
We Educate Recruitment are currently seeking a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join a welcoming early years setting in Wickford from September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young children’s development and helping them build the foundations for a successful start to their education.
The Role:
- Supporting children in their learning and development
- Planning and delivering engaging activities through play
- Supporting children’s social, emotional and physical development
- Creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment
- Observing and recording children’s progress
- Working closely with colleagues and parents
- Supporting children to develop confidence and independence
The Ideal Candidate:
- Has experience working with children in an early years or childcare setting
- Is caring, patient and enthusiastic
- Has a good understanding of child development
- Is passionate about supporting young children
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Can work effectively as part of a team
A relevant Early Years or childcare qualification would be beneficial. Candidates with relevant experience and a genuine passion for working with young children are encouraged to apply.
