Music Teacher – Hockley
Location: Hockley
Salary: £150–£220 per day
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-time
We Educate Recruitment are currently seeking a passionate and creative Music Teacher to join a supportive school in Hockley from September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to inspire students through music and help them develop their creativity, confidence and technical skills.
The Role:
- Planning and delivering engaging Music lessons
- Teaching students across a range of abilities
- Developing students’ musical knowledge, creativity and performance skills
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Assessing and monitoring student progress
- Encouraging students to participate in musical activities and performances
- Contributing to the wider extracurricular life of the school
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Has experience teaching Music or a related subject
- Has strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for music
- Is confident managing classroom behaviour
- Can inspire and motivate students of all abilities
- Has excellent communication and organisational skills
