We Educate is currently recruiting caring and motivated SEN Teaching Assistants to support mainstream primary schools across Purfleet.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about helping children with Special Educational Needs thrive in the classroom. You’ll be supporting pupils to overcome barriers to learning, build confidence and reach their full potential in a positive and inclusive setting.
About the Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and SENCOs to provide tailored support throughout the school day. This may include working one-to-one with pupils, supporting small group interventions, or assisting within whole-class activities to ensure every child can access learning.
Every day is different, making this a varied and rewarding role.
Pay: £92 – £115 per day
Your Responsibilities
- Support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs.
- Deliver one-to-one and small group interventions.
- Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom activities.
- Encourage positive behaviour, engagement and independence.
- Support pupils’ academic, social and emotional development.
- Help create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for patient, reliable and enthusiastic individuals who enjoy working with children.
The following qualifications or experience would be beneficial:
- Teaching Assistant qualifications
- Health & Social Care
- Early Years (EYFS)
- Childcare
- Education, Psychology or related degrees
Previous experience working with children is welcomed but not essential.
