SEN Teaching Assistant – Rainham

We Educate is currently recruiting enthusiastic and caring SEN Teaching Assistants to work within mainstream primary schools across Rainham.
This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs and helping them thrive in a positive and inclusive learning environment. You’ll be supporting pupils to overcome barriers to learning while developing their confidence, independence and engagement in school life.
About the Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and SENCOs to provide tailored support throughout the school day. This may include working one-to-one with pupils, supporting small group interventions, or assisting within whole-class activities.
The role is varied and ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and building strong relationships in a school setting.
Pay: £92 – £115 per day
Your Responsibilities
- Support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs.
- Deliver one-to-one and small group interventions.
- Assist teachers with classroom activities and lesson delivery.
- Encourage positive behaviour, confidence and independence.
- Support pupils’ academic, social and emotional development.
- Help create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for patient, reliable and motivated individuals who are passionate about working with children.
The following qualifications or experience would be beneficial:
- Teaching Assistant qualifications
- Health & Social Care
- Early Years (EYFS)
- Childcare
- Education, Psychology or related degrees
Previous experience in education is welcomed but not essential.
