SEN Teaching Assistant – Upminster

We Educate is currently recruiting passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to work within mainstream primary schools across Upminster.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are committed to supporting children with Special Educational Needs and want to make a genuine difference in the classroom. You’ll be helping pupils develop confidence, build independence and access learning in a positive, inclusive environment.
About the Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and SENCOs to provide tailored support for pupils throughout the school day. This may include working one-to-one with pupils, supporting small group interventions, or assisting within whole-class learning.
The role is varied, rewarding and ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and building positive relationships.
Pay: £92 – £115 per day
Your Responsibilities
- Support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs.
- Deliver one-to-one and small group interventions.
- Assist teachers with classroom activities and lesson delivery.
- Encourage positive behaviour, confidence and independence.
- Support pupils’ academic, social and emotional development.
- Help create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for caring, reliable and enthusiastic individuals who enjoy supporting children’s learning.
The following qualifications or experience would be beneficial:
- Teaching Assistant qualifications
- Health & Social Care
- Early Years (EYFS)
- Childcare
- Education, Psychology or related degrees
Previous experience working with children is welcome but not essential.
