SEN Teaching Assistant – Chafford Hundred

We Educate is currently recruiting enthusiastic and caring SEN Teaching Assistants to support mainstream primary schools across Chafford Hundred.
This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who are passionate about making a real difference in children’s lives. You’ll be working with pupils who have a range of Special Educational Needs, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and succeed both academically and personally.
About the Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and SENCOs to provide tailored support throughout the school day. This may include working one-to-one with pupils, supporting small group interventions, or assisting within whole-class activities.
The role is varied and rewarding, with no two days the same.
Pay: £92 – £115 per day
Your Responsibilities
- Support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs.
- Deliver one-to-one and small group interventions.
- Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom activities.
- Encourage positive behaviour, confidence and independence.
- Support pupils’ academic, social and emotional development.
- Help create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for patient, reliable and enthusiastic individuals who enjoy working with children.
The following qualifications or experience would be beneficial:
- Teaching Assistant qualifications
- Health & Social Care
- Early Years (EYFS)
- Childcare
- Education, Psychology or related degrees
Previous experience working with children is welcome but not essential.
