We Educate is currently recruiting dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to work within mainstream primary schools across Grays.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs and want to make a meaningful impact every day. You’ll be helping pupils build confidence, develop independence and access learning in a positive and inclusive classroom setting.
About the Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to provide tailored support to pupils throughout the school day. This may involve working one-to-one with pupils, supporting small group interventions, or assisting with whole-class learning activities.
Each day will bring variety, making this a rewarding and engaging role.
Pay: £92 – £115 per day
Your Responsibilities
- Support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs.
- Deliver one-to-one and small group interventions.
- Assist teachers with classroom activities and lesson delivery.
- Encourage positive behaviour, engagement and independence.
- Support pupils’ academic, social and emotional development.
- Help create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for patient, caring and reliable individuals who enjoy working with children.
The following qualifications or experience would be beneficial:
- Teaching Assistant qualifications
- Health & Social Care
- Early Years (EYFS)
- Childcare
- Education, Psychology or related degrees
Previous experience in education is welcomed but not essential.
