We Educate is currently recruiting caring and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to support mainstream primary schools across Tilbury.
This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who are passionate about helping children with Special Educational Needs overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential. You’ll play a key role in supporting pupils academically, socially and emotionally within a nurturing school environment.
About the Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and SENCOs to provide tailored support to pupils throughout the school day. This may include working one-to-one with pupils, supporting small group interventions, or assisting within whole-class learning activities.
No two days are the same, making this a varied and fulfilling role for someone who enjoys working with children.
Pay: £92 – £115 per day
Your Responsibilities
- Support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs.
- Deliver one-to-one and small group interventions.
- Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom activities.
- Encourage positive behaviour, confidence and independence.
- Support pupils’ academic, social and emotional development.
- Help create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for patient, reliable and motivated individuals who are passionate about supporting children.
The following qualifications or experience would be beneficial:
- Teaching Assistant qualifications
- Health & Social Care
- Early Years (EYFS)
- Childcare
- Education, Psychology or related degrees
Previous experience working with children is welcome but not essential.
