Salary: £150–£220 per day
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-time
We Educate Recruitment are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Rayleigh from September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to join a supportive school environment and make a positive impact on the academic, social and personal development of pupils.
The Role:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons to a Year 2 class
- Creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
- Supporting pupils across a range of abilities and needs
- Monitoring and assessing pupil progress
- Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and colleagues
- Supporting the social and emotional development of pupils
- Contributing to the wider life of the school
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Has experience teaching within a primary school environment
- Has a strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum
- Is confident managing classroom behaviour
- Is passionate about helping children achieve their potential
- Has excellent communication and organisational skills
