Position: Art Teacher
Location: Chelmsford, Essex
Salary: £130 – £200 per day
Start Date: ASAP

Role Overview:
As an Art Teacher, you will have the opportunity to engage with students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, delivering high-quality lessons that spark creativity and promote artistic growth. While prior teaching experience is preferable, we also welcome applicants with transferable skills and a passion for education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Art lessons tailored to the needs of KS3 and KS4 students.
  • Inspire students to express themselves creatively and develop their artistic skills.
  • Utilize effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a productive classroom atmosphere.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Art curriculum and student learning outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Strong subject knowledge in Art and Design.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage classroom behaviour.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is not mandatory, but prior teaching experience or relevant qualifications are advantageous.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable.

Working Hours:
This role offers flexibility with both full-time and part-time positions available. Working hours are from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, providing an ideal balance for those seeking work-life harmony.
