Learning Support Assistant – Seven Kings
Location: Seven Kings
Salary: £24,000–£28,000 per annum
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-time and part-time opportunities available
We Educate Recruitment are currently seeking a caring, patient and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming school in Seven Kings from September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting pupils with their learning and helping them develop academically, socially and emotionally.
The Role:
- Providing one-to-one and small group support to pupils
- Supporting students with their academic and personal development
- Assisting teachers with classroom activities and learning
- Helping pupils overcome barriers to learning
- Encouraging positive behaviour, confidence and independence
- Supporting pupils with additional learning needs where required
- Working collaboratively with teachers and other support staff
The Ideal Candidate:
- Has experience working with children or young people
- Is patient, caring and supportive
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Is passionate about helping pupils achieve their potential
- Can build positive and trusting relationships with students
- Is reliable, adaptable and able to work effectively as part of a team
Previous experience working within a school, education, care or youth work setting would be beneficial, although candidates with relevant transferable experience are encouraged to apply. Training and support can be provided for the right candidate.
