SEN Teaching Assistant – Billericay

We Educate is looking for enthusiastic and caring SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils in mainstream primary schools across Billericay.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to play a key role in helping pupils with Special Educational Needs achieve their full potential. You’ll provide tailored support throughout the school day, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
About the Role
Working alongside experienced teachers and SENCOs, you’ll support children with a range of additional needs. Your responsibilities may include providing one-to-one support, working with small intervention groups, or assisting the class teacher to ensure every pupil can access learning.
Whether you’re already experienced or looking to build a career in education, this role offers valuable classroom experience and excellent long-term opportunities.
Pay: £92 – £115 per day
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting pupils with a variety of Special Educational Needs.
- Delivering one-to-one and small group learning support.
- Encouraging pupils to engage confidently with lessons and classroom activities.
- Assisting teachers with preparing resources and delivering learning.
- Promoting positive behaviour and independence.
- Helping to create a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment.

The following qualifications or experience would be beneficial:
- Teaching Assistant qualifications
- Health & Social Care
- Early Years (EYFS)
- Childcare
- Education, Psychology or similar degrees
