This is an exciting opportunity to work with pupils who have a range of Special Educational Needs, providing tailored support that helps them grow in confidence, develop new skills and reach their full potential.
About the Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll play an important role in supporting pupils throughout the school day. You’ll work alongside teachers and SENCOs to deliver personalised support, whether that’s working one-to-one with a child, leading small group activities or assisting within the classroom.
No two days are the same, making this a rewarding role for someone who enjoys variety and making a genuine difference.
Pay: £92 – £115 per day
Your Responsibilities
- Provide support to pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs.
- Adapt your approach to meet individual learning styles and needs.
- Assist with classroom activities and planned interventions.
- Encourage pupils’ confidence, independence and engagement.
- Promote a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Work closely with teaching staff to help pupils achieve their goals.
About You
We’re looking for individuals who are patient, enthusiastic and committed to helping children succeed.
The following qualifications or experience would be advantageous:
- Teaching Assistant qualifications
- Health & Social Care
- Early Years (EYFS)
- Childcare
- Education, Psychology or similar degrees
