We are currently seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join a vibrant Secondary School in Thurrock. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting KS3 and KS4 classes, ensuring continuity in learning and maintaining a positive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers.
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and manage classroom behaviour effectively.
• Support students’ learning and engagement in accordance with the school’s policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure smooth delivery of the curriculum.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role within an educational setting is preferable.
• Transferable skills such as strong communication, organization, and adaptability are highly valued.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is not required, but excellent behaviour management skills are essential.
• Ability to work across KS3 and KS4 classes.
• Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service is desirable.
• A commitment to promoting a positive learning environment for all students.

Benefits:

• Competitive daily rate ranging from £75 – £120, depending on experience.
• Full-time role with hours from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.
